Checklist of Midterm 2 Topics, E7 SP08 Prepared by James Lew, 04/15/2008 Here is a list of topics I feel will help you prepare for the second midterm.   This is by no means a   complete list, but it should at help you assess initially the bulk of topics you need to study.   Good luck,  and hope this helps! Relational Operators and Logicals  - Relational Operators:   >=, >, <, <=, ==, ~= - Logicals : && , & , | , || , ~ - E.g.    a >= b | a + b >  0, where a and b are  o both scalars  o both arrays (rectangle, column, or row) o  one is a scalar, one is an array  - Using logicals and relationship operators in i f  or  while  statements - Using relational operators and logicals in a find statement  Loop Statements - Function of interest: for, if, elseif, else, while , length, size, find - What are the differences between the three?  When is it best to use each?
