2.1 Procedure Whole sample of soil was placed inside the riffle and the soil was been discharge to a metal container. The sieves were arranged from the largest sizes to the smallest in descending order and the whole set was placed on the sieve shaker and was firmly secured afterwards. Two kilogram of the soil sample was weighed and was discharged unto the sieves, some of the soil was discharged downwards immediately.
