I. Purpose: To assess personal body composition as and the advantages/disadvantages of each testing method in determining body fat percentage II.Results: a) Data/Calculation sheet is stapled to the back of this packet. b) I believe the fat percentage resulting from the Hydrostatic Weighing test would provide the most accurate estimation of my body composition. I was unable to exhale all of the air from my lungs while submerged, resulting in skewed results. The only limitation to this test is precisely that human error, and I was unable to get a positive body percentage result from this exercise. The other methods included height and weight measures which has over time been found to misdiagnose people’s fat percentage. Body mass index is clinically accepted and also fairly accurate. Skin fold and bioimpedance testing which can be inaccurate under certain circumstances including muscle contraction/relaxation and in the latte, according to hydration. c) The fat percentage from my hydrostatic weighing was incorrect due to human error but the
