Larry Hipp Writing 101 The introduction of the internet has changed the lives of everyone throughout the world. The internet has made things possible that people could never even imagine ten years ago. The internet provides services such as online banking, schooling and shopping, but also serves as one of the largest libraries of information. Although the internet provides endless positive capabilities, there are also many cons to what the internet has to offer. The internet was first introduced in 1989 by Tim Berners Lee which was taken from the concept of Arpanet that was used to connect colleges and allowed them to share information. As time passed and advancements in technology took place, the internet became more widely used throughout everyday personal life and the business world. Businesses started to use the internet and the services provided by being online, to further advance their productivity and work. Some businesses are only available online and through websites, mostly retail services such as ticket sales.
