“PROBLEM” PROBLEM ENGR 213 Winter 2009 (GROUP PROJECT: groups of 10 or more!) The project is to submit a homework problem that you have made up, suitable for inclusion in a textbook. The subject of the problem can be any member or structure you encounter in everyday life, such as part of a building, an element of a mechanism, part of your transportation mode (bicycle, automobile, skateboard . . .) or almost any object which catches the group’s fancy. Take a digital photograph of the object of the problem. A cell phone camera is fine. If you do not have a camera available I can arrange one for you on very short term loan. The photo may be modified electronically as needed. 2. Provide a simple drawing of the object such as the ones in the text. This can be a drawing done with drafting tools (seen those in a museum?) then scanned, a CAD
