THE BEGINNINGIn the book of Genesis 1, it states in verses 1-10 on how Gods creation came to be.•God created the heavens and the Earth.•As darkness cast and a sense of no formation of the planet Earth surfaced, God then established day (morning) as well as night (evening).•Lastly, with Gods creation of the sky between waters, in order to separate water from water, the outcome is Gods development of dry ground (land) and gathered waters (sea).•Gods creation was in an ordered pattern. “The good order of the universe is good because God declares it to be so. Order means that there is a proper function for everything and a proper relationship that it bears to everything else” (Goldsworthy, 1991, p. 93).Marjorie Fleuridor2
CREATION OF THE WORLD•Gods creation of land, led to the production of vegetation: “seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it”(Genesis 1:11). Also the land produce living creatures according to their kinds:” the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind” (Genesis 1:24).•Gods creation of the sky led to birds having the ability to fly and soar across the earths sky. •Gods creation of the sea led to sea creatures and according to their kinds, every living thing with which the water teems as well as moves about in it.Marjorie Fleuridor3
CREATIONOF HUMANKIND-In Genesis 1 verse 26 God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” (Genesis 1:26).
