Image #1: The Beautiful Girl, Hannah Hoch 1919/1920 This painting is important because it not only represents a German perspective and Nationalism but is also very representative of dadaist art. The many feminine images are a large part of Dada art and Hoch is a very important artist during this time period. There are three allusions to females in this painting as she is targeting a female audience and encouraging them to break the traditional roles they were given. Image #2: Half-Caste, Hannah, 1924
