What is Dominance? Incomplete Dominance – in both cases the heterozygotes is distinguishable from either homozygotes AA ≠ Aa ≠ aa Full dominance – the phenotype in a hybrid is the same as a homzygote AA = Aa Wild type (fully functional allele) does not always = dominant Some mutations result in dominance.
