Mike Gemmati Rick Hardy REL 315 01 October 2008 Top 10 Caribbean Resorts After watching the “Worlds Best” documentary on the Travel channel I now have a better idea of the best resorts in the Caribbean. This one hour show counted down the top 10 hotels and resorts to stay at in the Caribbean islands. This extensive list included places ranging from St. Thomas to Turks Caicos to the West Indies. Each of these beautiful places had certain distinctions making the next one better then the last. Number 10 on the list was The Aruba Hyatt Regency Casino in Aruba. Sitting roughly 15 miles off the coast of Aruba, this hotel featured about 12 miles of beach. One of the most interesting things that I like about this hotel was the swim up bar as well as the romantic side that this getaway spot had to offer. This hotel also offered things like a sunset service which confirms just how much of a magical romantic get away this place can be. The next place on the countdown was located in the U.S. Virgin Islands; it was the beautiful Caneel Bay. Caneel Bay, which was originally developed by Norman Rockefeller, is an amazing getaway spot including underwater sites which in fact on a good day you can see 100 ft deep in the water.
