The issue with culture diversity has been an extreme issue for generations. We haveseen it time and time again but we continue to face discrimination all over the country till thisday. In fact, “ The United Kingdom, the United States and Australia, as demonstrated in thisbook, are institutionally racist societies,”Mike Cole. (2016) . Because there is still verymuch an issue with racism and respect it is essential to implement protocol. Protocol that cutsthe idea that discriminating those of different race, ethnicity, age, origin, gender, etc. Iscrucial when employees are being affected negatively because of their traits. There are biasesin many work environments. One that was personal to myself and others was anothercoworker implementing that pork skins were specifically placed in vending machines forMexicans. Not only do issues such as these bring the employee down, but it creates a hostilework environment that ultimately may lead to legal consequences if not properly handled.
