Professor Early ENG 480 14 October 2008 E-mail Etiquette Mini-Lesson Overview:   This mini-lesson is intended to teach the basics of simple e-mail etiquette.  E-mailing  is an integral part of our lives now and students should be capable of e-mailing properly and  succinctly.  My goal is to have students be able to identify and correct bad e-mails and then to  have them correct the e-mails as well.  Another goal is to inform students of the certain features  e-mail utilizes over regular “snail-mail”.   Purpose:   This lesson should help students become more familiar with the capabilities of the  internet and should make them aware that etiquette is also expected of them even online.  The  purpose of the lesson is to make the students as professional as possible whether it comes to e- mailing in the business or personal realms of life.
