Kairos: Translates to the opportune moment Articulated in Poulakos’ definition of sophist rhetoric (an art which seeks to capture in opportune moments that which is appropriate and attempts to suggest that which is possible). Points out that speech exists in time and constitutes a prompting toward speaking and a criterion of value of speech (to prepon).
