Interview 2 with Wendy Booker We had originally planned on going on a hike with Wendy to experience her in her natural environment. Unfortunately her schedule and the weather wouldn’t allow it. So instead she went through the motivation presentation she gives around the nation and she lead us through a “virtual” hike through her photos. What we wanted to get out of the presentation: -What tactics does Wendy use to motivate her audience? Wendy was very comfortable, honest, open, and humble in giving her presentation. We all felt that it was amazing that she has accomplished so much, and still was able to connect to us. She never put herself above any of us, and always made us comfortable. After her presentation, you really felt moved to accomplish your own goals. It made you think that if someone with MS could accomplish climbing the 7 summits, then what could I accomplish? Her personality, goals, and accomplishments were all very inspirational and made our group realize her accomplishments and what we could do to
