Sales Department 100 Main Street Los Angeles, CA 22222 1-800-422-3425 February 17, 2008 Dear Customer, On behalf of Office Depot we would like to apologize for our previous letter sent out to all customers. As I am sure you are aware, the original letter incorrectly stated that Office Depot was offering a 20 percent discount off the total of your next order. The letter should have read that we were offering a 20 percent discount off the most-expensive item in your next order.
