On the first day of my internship, I was petrified. I was scared because I didn’t know any of my colleagues and I didn’t know what to expect, but once I got there everything was all right. The people that I worked with extremely friendly and the actual work that I was doing was really fun. The Public Relations firm that I interned with required me to put together press releases, newsletters and assist in research for a number of projects. __________________something needs to go here_____________________________ To students who are unsure of what an internship is like, I can affirm that it is an excellent opportunity. It is very demanding, however in the end it will be extremely worthwhile and helpful to a student’s future. Furthermore, it is something that will lend a hand to somebody who is attempting to get a job, and it will put that person ahead of someone who simply has a degree. An internship is clearly not the same as a college course. Students cannot afford to be lazy or put off their work in any way, shape, or form. There are no instructors to tell the students
