IGNORANCE = FEAR, SILCENCE = DEATH 2 IGNORANCE = FEAR, SILENCE = DEATH Keith Haring was a famous artist who painted many Pop Art and Graffiti Art artworks, and one of his most representative and controversial work was IGNORANCE=FEAR, SILENCE=DEATH made in 1989. In this artwork there are three asymmetrical yellow human figures bordered with thick black lines on a red background, and each figure covers a part of their faces with their hands. The first figure is covering its eyes, the second one its ears, and the third one its mouth. Furthermore, they have some pink lines on their chests. On the top of the poster says “IGNORANCE = FEAR”, at the bottom says “SILENCE = DEATH”, and next to it there is a pink triangle followed for the phrase “FIGHT AIDS, ACT UP” on a blue background. This work was made of color screen-print on paper that is why is 2D and there is no mass and texture. Its dimensions are 109 x 61 cm, and it is a representational style. Haring’s arts are
