INCLUSIVE EDUCATION IN OTHER COUNTRIES
I. INTRODUCTION
Hi there! I hope you are all safe. Welcome to another week of your online
learning! Last week you learned about the Definition and Scope of Special and Inclusive
Education.
Since there is a cry for inclusivity in all fields of human interest, a number of
countries joined this movement to create a more inclusive society through educating the
people.
This module will introduce you to the different responsive special and inclusive
education programs and in the same module you will be learning of some of the
frontrunner countries which have strong programs on special and inclusive education.
In this learning experience, you are expected to:
a. demonstrate knowledge of responsive special and inclusive education programs
for diverse learners; and
b. compare and contrast Inclusive Education in the Philippines with that of
International standards.
