COMMUNICATION 2630 Spring 2009 Linda Van Buskirk and Frank Joseph Short Analytical Report in memo format Planning Memo due February 9 Collaborative Report due February 13 Collaborative   The short report is to be written in memo format.   It will be a report from subordinate to  manager or from peer to peer or from manager to subordinate.  You will specify the position of  sender and receiver in your planning memo, which is addressed from the group to your instructor,  as in the mission statement assignment. The planning memo with required outline will receive  one grade, and the final short report will receive another grade.  The short report – also in memo  format – will be addressed to the receiver within your group’s chosen organization.  You may use  the person’s real name, or, if that is not possible, you will invent names.  The positions should be  real or at least logical extrapolations from researched information. Most of the routine short reports written in organizations are presented in
