Three cases that I will discuss in the case in Kent v. UnitedStates, In re Gault, and in re Winship. The three cases changed many waysthe Juvenile System handle and process juvenile cases.oKent v. United States:(1966) Kent v. United states was the first casethat started juvenile court reforms. Kent was a 16-year-old boy that wasdetained and interrogated by the police in connections with severalincidents involving robbery and rape. Kent appealed the action startingthat the juvenile court did not conduct a full investigation before waivingjurisdiction. The Supreme Courts determined that juvenile offenders areentitled to the same amount of due process of law as adults while underthe jurisdiction of a juvenile court.
