Chandler Barden February 16, 2008 American Government Roe vs. Wade At the time of the Roe vs. wade case the United States was favoring Pro-choice in the issue of abortion . The founding fathers of this country had an idea of having the right balance between government and personal privacy . Many factors go into the choice of having children and should be a personal decision. The right to privacy was a broad point given by the constitution to protect the U.S. citizens and keep personal life separate from governmental laws . Abortion is an issue that is about the well being of everyone . The American government has always been about having as much freedom as one can while keeping everyone safe . Abortion in the first and second trimester is not about a viable someone . There are many factors that can go into the issue of having a child . During those first couple of trimesters the fertilized egg is totally dependent on the host or mother . Some say that when an egg is fertilized that it overweighs the right to
