  Phylum Cnidaria   -  Corals, Anemones, Jellyfish, and Hydras Know what phylum these organisms belong to. Know which specific organisms belong to the following classes: o Anthozoa o Scyphozoa o Hydrozoa  Be able to identify the specimens that we observed in class  (Domain, Kingdom, Phylum, and Class). What level of organization is present in these organisms (cellular? tissue?  system?)   How many tissue layers do these organisms have? What type of symmetry do these organisms have? Describe the two body plans present in this phylum.  What is their  function? Describe the function of cnidocytes. Describe the structure and functions of a gastrovascular cavity?       Phylum Platyhelminthes   - Flatworms Know the phylum that these organisms belong to. Know which specific organisms belong to the following classes: o Turbellaria o Tremetoda o Nematoda Know the characteristics present in these Classes. Be able to identify the specimens that we observed in class  (Domain, Kingdom, Phylum, and Class).
