Unformatted text preview: TST: A CHEM 6B Winter Quarter 2008 Dr. DiPasquale Exam 1 DO NOT OPEN THIS EXAM UNTIL YOU ARE TOLD TO DO SO!!! There are 10 questions worth 5 points each. You will have 50 minutes to complete the exam. Your answers will be submitted and recorded using your InterWrite PRS RF clicker. Your electronically submitted answers are what will be scored, so please make sure you input your answers properly and in the units requested. Do not submit answers in scientific notation as they will not be correctly scored. You may submit an answer for any question as many times as you wish within the time period for the exam, but only your last response for a given question will be retained. A Periodic Table with useful constants and an equation sheet are attached. Feel free to write on this exam for your work. CLICKER INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Join the RF class as you normally would by finding the class name or by typing the channel number noted on the chalkboard. 2. The top line of your clicker should display TST: which indicates you are in test mode (see below). 3. When asked to Enter Test #, please enter your test form. This is form A . Press a and you will get a Received confirmation. If Enter Test # is not displayed or if you entered the wrong test form, press the button while TST: is displayed to change your test form. 4. Use the and buttons to navigate to the question number you want to answer. You may answer the questions in any order at your own pace. Answer with either a numerical answer or A thru E for multiple choice questions. Press a and you will get a Received confirmation. 5. When you have submitted all of your answers and are finished with your exam, turn your clicker off inside of the lecture hall and do not turn it back on until after the exam has concluded or your submitted answers may be erased. 1.
