There are a lot of emerging markets today, especially with the advancement of
technology. The success and stability of these markets largely depend on the execution of the ten
operational management decisions. “Operations Management (OM) is the administration of
business activities to achieve the best level of efficiency feasible inside an organization. It is
mostly concerned with efficiently transforming materials and labour into goods and services in
order to maximize an organization's profit” ( Ball, 2011). This paper will thus research and
identify an aerospace and industrial management issue that was caused by a failure of
production/operations management by considering the ten operations management decisions.
