I have taken online classes before that consisted of a lot of reading but this class really makes you look at the details in history. It is good because it challenges me to know the facts and to learn and hear different interpretations of history. I have learned a lot with the extra readings provided each week with the assignments. Each reading focuses on a different aspect of the question being asked. Given the objectives for each assignment helps also when understanding what I am supposed to be getting out of the class. My previous history class, which was American History 109, gave me a larger interest in history and gave me a little more of an understanding of our country. So, when continuing with the study of American history, this time online, I was pleased to see that there were so many samples to learn from. Subject: Class Critique Author: ANDREA BUE Personally I enjoy the way the class is set up and find it insightful to read through what everyone else has had to say. I have found that most of the time I don't agree with what the majority of the class has to say, but at the same time it opens my eyes to different points of view and different perspectives that I hadn't thought of before. My favorite part of the class though is that the Professor has us read things from history and then apply it to our current life in modern times. It is said that history is important and that we should learn from it and apply it in our daily lives and this class does exactly that thing. So I think that this has been set up very well and not only am I learning, but I get to share my opinions with others, learn things from my classmates and also find out how the past is shaping my future. I would look forward to a history class in the future that has a similar set up to this one. I am learning a lot of things that I didn't know before and I am getting different perspectives from all of you. I also find it quite fun that I get to express my beliefs on here as well. Also, it allows us to learn many different perspectives through active dialogue and feedback. From my viewpoint this class could be reshaped in a more beneficial manor for both the students and the professor. I think it’s important to
