LECTURE 9 – 2/5/09 Emo Lecture For test: similar situations, just listen! (sorry sush) 1 st  Person Misdiagnosed in HS   anorexia was masked by auto-immune disease Passionate Feminist Had a guilt issue 2 nd  Person Mom and wife AN in high school and turned to BN in college Mom had AN for a long time, so she was exposed to it Bulimic   threw up as guilt for putting on weight 3 rd  Person Bulimic in high school Did it for wrestling o Tried to drop weight classes in order to win o Took a toll on him physically o More or less encouraged by his coach  Binge excessively and then go for a run Went through cycles of shame and guilt 4 th  Person
