The Mission Statement of Southwest Airlines A mission statement is designed to get a specific message from one party to the next. Usually the mission statement of an organization is a way to get a message from the organization to the consumer. At Southwest Airlines, their mission statement is their way of communicating there commitment to the customer and employees. Southwest Airlines has two separate mission statements. One mission statement of Southwest Airlines is dedicated to the customers. “The mission of Southwest Airlines is dedication to the highest quality of Customer Service delivered with a sense of warmth, friendliness, individual pride, and Company Spirit” (Southwest Airlines, 1988). The second mission statement that Southwest Airlines has is dedicated to the employees. We are committed to provide our Employees a stable work environment with equal opportunity for learning and personal growth.
