Management and leadership 2 Management and Leadership There are many different roles and responsibilities when it comes to being a leader and/or a manager of an organization. In this society there are many people that embrace the leadership roles in the environment that they are in. Being a leader and managing a situation can be a completely different experience. There are different roles that you have to play depending on your title. The responsibilities that you obtain will clarify whether you are a leader or an manager. Creating and maintaining a healthy organizational culture is a key factor on whether or not you are a productive and successful leader and/or manager. There are four major functions of management. These functions support the creation and maintenance of a healthy organizational culture. Overall there are differences between management and leadership.
