EP Class Homework 1, Sensor Characterization - Part 1 Due date: Wednesday February 24 th , 16:00 Characterize the ultrasonic sensor and the gyroscope of the Lego EV3 sets. Compare as much as you can your findings with the manufacturer data in terms of the input-output relations. (Manufactures do not provide all the data that you will obtain) Design an experimental setup and a measurement procedure for each sensor so that you can control and change your input signal and obtain the sensor output from the Brick Display. Include the photos of your experimental setups, and clearly explain your procedures. Collect data points to determine input-output relations for each sensor; min. max ranges, (if any) dynamic range, saturation regions (if any), sensitivity, minimum change at the input that can be detectable at the output (precision). Do your best to scientifically report your findings, (do not forget to name your tables, graphs, labels of axis etc.)
