• Learn how to use a spreadsheet to explore data in a meaningful way with some of the charting features available in the software.
• Learn how to appropriately label charts, and how certain types of statistical graphs are best suited for the variable(s) of interest.

Preparation

Please keep in mind that each statistical chart you construct inside of Excel, will need to be pasted into a slide for your PowerPoint
presentation. Each chart will need the following criteria to qualify for the four points each:
a)
a sensible chart
title
either at the top or the bottom of the graph that describes what you are trying to display.
b)
labels
for both the
x
and
y
-axes that indicate what data is being displayed.
