Title: Never Die Easy General Subject: Walter Payton Specific Subject: An overview of the life of Walter Payton including his football career, what kind of person he was off the field, and the legacy after his death. Purpose: To inform and educate students about what kind of person Walter Payton was on and off the football field. Central Idea: Walter Payton had a very interesting life because he was a great football player, a man of integrity and character, and had a legacy that continues even though he passed away. Introduction: Every kid in America has a role model and there is none better than Walter Payton. When I was younger I read his autobiography, Never Die Easy , and have tried to live my life like him ever since. Walter Payton had a very interesting life because he was such a great football player, was a man of integrity and character, and had a legacy that continues even though he passed away. It would take all day to tell you all the great achievements and events of Walter Payton’s life, so today I am just going to highlight a few significant events Body: I.
