Siming Zhu BEE Assignment 7.1 – Needs March 8, 2009 I “Need” How I meet this need Air I fulfill this need by breathing in oxygen and making sure I stay in places that are oxygenated. Water/liquid I meet the need to stay hydrated by drinking water and other liquids, which I purchase at Wegmans or at one of the dining facilities on campus. Food I stay nourished by eating food. I fulfill the need by using cash/citybucks to purchase prepared food at restaurants or groceries at Wegmans. I also purchase little snacks here and there when I get hungry. Shelter I meet the need for shelter by paying and going home at night. Gravity I meet the need for gravity by living on earth and staying in places with gravity (which is pretty much everywhere) Sleep I fulfill my need for rest by turning off the lights, drawing the blinds, and sleeping on my bed. Clothing & shoes I fulfill the need to be clothed by going to stores and purchasing clothes and shoes when I am home, which I bring with me when I come to Ithaca for school. I also purchase a lot of clothes and shoes online when I am at school. Feeling of Love and Affection I fulfill this need by staying in contact with my family and friends. When I am at school, I speak to (on the phone or through email) my family and my friends from home daily. I see my friends from Cornell almost every day (either in class or when we go out). When we are not at school, we stay in contact through emails and phone calls.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
