2 Kitcher’s Aims Kitcher is a philosopher. He argues for positions, considers what critics would say, argues against critics of his positions. He is an advocate for genetic testing of fetuses and for abortion of those who will have a very poor quality of life. He advocates freedom of choice for parents about whether they follow his proposal.
