Realistic job preview : informs applicants about all aspects of the job, including both its desirable and undesirable facets. RJPs appear to be an effective recruitment technique because of these positive results: Improved employee job satisfaction Reduced voluntary turnover Enhanced communication through honesty and openness Realistic job expectations Applicants who are given realistic information regarding a position are more likely to remain on the job and be successful, because there will be fewer unpleasant surprises. 2. More than 50% of all MBAs leave their first employer within 5 years. While the change may mean career growth for the individuals, it represents a loss of employers.
