What is the difference (conceptually not numerically) between the standard deviation and the standard error? Include in your answer the distributions to which they each apply. 2. About 2% of the American population has red hair. In a survey of a random sample of 200 American actresses and actors, 20 have red hair. Construct a 90% confidence interval for the proportion of the American population that has red hair and state the result using appropriate “confidence interval” language. Be sure to consider the appropriate Z value in determining the estimate of the population proportion. Also remember that for large samples, the t table can be used to determine Z table values (i.e., you don’t need Table 3 to do this problem).
