Week 6 What is surprising or significant about the movement of the Holy Spirit, particularly in Acts chapter 10? In Acts 10:44-46 it states that “Even as Peter was saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who were listening to the message. The Jewish believers[a ] who came with Peter were amazed that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles, too. For they heard them speaking in other tongues[ b ] and praising God. The act of the Holy spirit being poured out on the Gentiles amazed Peter because it was surprising to him and perhaps many. Peter had witnessed the ways in which the Holy spirit has no discrimination and is extended even to those who were not Jewish. The Holy spirit however does not discriminate for anyone, not for religion, cultural background or ethnicity, or even those who have sinned or been outcast by sin. The movement of the Holy spirit would not be stopped of altered but presented. Once presented people then would become able to decide to walk in the light of that Holy spirit or forsake it.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
