Pivot Table Settings and Field Calculations 1. Create a pivot table based on the data in the Data worksheet. The PivotTableImage worksheet  contains an image of the complete pivot table. 2. Set up a dateset that is appropriate for a Pivot table. Use the field names "Salesperson" and "Country". 3. Place Country as a Report Filter, Salesperson as a Row Label, and Order Amount as a Value. Name the  worksheet "Pivot".  4. Show the pivot table in Outline Form (Design tab, Report Layout dropdown). Add the Order Date field  to the left of Salesperson. 5. Group order dates by quarter. 6. Rename the Order Date field to Qtr. 7. Pivot the report to compare individual performance from quarter to quarter. Move Qtr to the right of  Salesperson.  8. Format the Order Amount as currency.
