Caring for each other and take care of each others needs - Gospel Jerusalem Rome Movement begins as Jewish ends as almost exclusively Gentile Acts 1-12: From Jerusalem to Antioch First 12 chapters (Geographical movement) 1. Introduction (1:1-26) - Ascension Revisited (overlaps Luke) - Judas replaced by Matthias (1:12-26) o Inscription of Judas’ death here different than 1 Matthew – more details in Acts o Replacement had to be an eyewitness - Community of 120 in prayer over 40 days (Primarily Galilean Jew) The Thesis for Acts is found right before Jesus ascends (Acts 1:4-8) On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. 5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit." 6 So when they met together, they
