Export Business Plan Purpose This export business plan will demonstrate how Jones Inc. will enter and conduct their export business. The company is planning to export new and used mid-size sedans into Mexico. This export business plan is needed to have a grasp of their target market before exporting these vehicles and enter the market. This plan will help the business understand their market and adhere to Mexico’s rules and regulations to enter but help the company focus on their mission to remain lucrative in this new market. The export business plan illustrates the goals of Jones Inc. by defining some steps needed to achieve their goals. It explains the company’s objectives with their investors and potential customers from Mexico. This plan will most importantly help the company remain on track by allowing managers to refer to the plan while transactions and decisions are being made in their business.
Export Business Plan Executive Summary Globalization has open the door for many companies all over the world. Businesses are taking advantage of trade with other countries to compete in an ever-changing global market to gain revenue. Jones Incorporated has devised a plan to export customizable bicycles to sell at many major department stores in major metropolitan areas in Mexico and eventually open their own locations all over the country. The sale of bicycles has seen double sales each year which coincides with the increased amount of registered cars that’s congesting Mexico’s ailing infrastructure. These bicycles will provide a low-cost, high-quality product that will provide an alternative for mobility in the city. Due to the discrepancy of wage and education in the country, these low-cost bicycles can be afforded and attained by those who may have a need. Jones Incorporated will begin exporting customizable bikes in the first year to gradually increase the company’s market share and compete in Mexico’s bicycle market. The company will operate on a small scale to try to avoid the high costs and barriers of entry. Within a period of five years, Jones Inc. expects to grow their market share and its capital and begin to operate on a larger scale of running their own locations all over the country. Soon manufacturing bikes in the country will be an option but not explored at the current moment. All licenses and acceptable labels are acquired and marketing for these products will soon be underway.
