The most accurate measure for central tendency in this example would be median. While mean and median are both very close, median is a better representative of the “mid range” cost for a home in this city. c. With the exception of the highest value home at $385K, the largest gap in price is $39K, coming between $201K to $240K. This makes $385K an outlier with a price gap of $65K, at 4/3rds of the 2ndlargest gap in the middle of the range.
