BackgroundEmbedding data and business analytics tools in an organization remain one of the critical areasto focus on in the current data-driven world where Upstairs Inc. specializes. NHS Forth Valley isone of the organizations likely to benefit from implementing effective data analysis and businesstools. NHS Forth Valley remains one of fourteen regional health boards that serve a largepopulation of approximately more than 306,000, found in diverse geographical locations withinthe center of Scotland (Wallace Medical Centre, nd). The NHS board is in charge of an annualbudget of around £570 million and employs about 8000 staff. The board is in charge ofmanaging diverse operations from its key organizations. To effectively manage the health careoperations, the innovation pipeline remains one of the key focus areas in which a firm or anorganization attains its primary corporate objectives by leveraging on the application ofinnovative methods and processes systematically and sustainably (Arora et al., 2021). There isa need for the board to have effective work data-sharing platforms that are easily monitored andused to ensure that the board deals with all forms of data in accordance with its privacystandards and those of other key stakeholders. This report covers the business and dataunderstanding which forms an integral part of successful project implementation and is used tocover an innovation pipeline strategy for NHS.
