Abstract
The report covers detailed information regarding Upstairs Inc.'s assessment of NHS's approach
that it may use to implement an innovative means of sharing data with its key stakeholders to
enhance its standards of data integrity. One of the crucial areas to focus on is the creation of an
innovation pipeline to enhance the organization's ability to coordinate its different facilities
geared towards enhancing Scotland's healthcare sector. The report covers two significant
sections of project implementation using the CRISP-DM model of project implementation in
which the business and data understanding sections are covered. The report further covers
several recommendations to enhance the innovation pipeline framework, especially dung the
initial and implementation phases.

Background
Embedding data and business analytics tools in an organization remain one of the critical areas
to focus on in the current data-driven world where Upstairs Inc. specializes. NHS Forth Valley is
one of the organizations likely to benefit from implementing effective data analysis and business
tools. NHS Forth Valley remains one of fourteen regional health boards that serve a large
population of approximately more than 306,000, found in diverse geographical locations within
the center of Scotland (Wallace Medical Centre, nd). The NHS board is in charge of an annual
budget of around £570 million and employs about 8000 staff. The board is in charge of
managing diverse operations from its key organizations. To effectively manage the health care
operations, the innovation pipeline remains one of the key focus areas in which a firm or an
organization attains its primary corporate objectives by leveraging on the application of
innovative methods and processes systematically and sustainably ( Arora et al., 2021) . There is
a need for the board to have effective work data-sharing platforms that are easily monitored and
used to ensure that the board deals with all forms of data in accordance with its privacy
standards and those of other key stakeholders. This report covers the business and data
understanding which forms an integral part of successful project implementation and is used to
cover an innovation pipeline strategy for NHS.
