Being an African-American women, the problem I immediately thought aboutwas minorities battling negative intellectual stereotypes and struggling to succeed in theworkplace.The term “minority” is not limited to just race; it extends as far as gender.Women are not astatisticalminority, as in most societies -- they are roughly equal in number to men -- but they doqualify as aminoritygroupbecause they tend to have lesspowerand fewer privileges than men(Boundless, 2016). Currently, minorities only make up a small 21% of a company's workplace.Of that 21%, most of them would receive racial and gender slights on a daily basis. These
