Competitive analysis COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS SYRIA 1. Syrian Young Entrepreneurs Association The Syrian Young Entrepreneurs Association (SYEA) is a non-profit NGO located in the city of Damascus, Syria. The organization was established in 2002 and currently the company is under executive management of Haitham Al-Dimashki. The main project undertaken by this company are Harran Al-Awamid, Jobit Borghal and Job Fair o8. The company is working to strengthen the entrepreneurial capacity of young people in Syria and support the launch of projects that turn them into job-creators instead of job searchers. SYEA operates on four levels: deepening the culture of entrepreneurship in the country and breaking psychological barriers to starting a business, providing information and experience necessary to launch and sustain entrepreneurial projects, building a support network for entrepreneurial ventures, and financing entrepreneurial activities. The company commands an authority on entrepreneurship in Syria and has since specialized in helping and supporting young Entrepreneurs in Syria and encouraging wealth creation 2. ArabNet This is the largest conference for the Arab web industry organized by the International Business Alliance Group (IBAG) was founded in 2009 by Omar Christidis with a vision of helping the growth of web and mobile sectors in the Arab World through its activities. The company also: Builds business bridges across the MENA region Stimulates the growth of the Arab digital knowledge Support the growth of new businesses and job opportunities for the youth.

Competitive analysis The company holds conferences in Dubai, Riyad and Beirut which are the largest digital gatherings in the MENA region. These conferences mobilizes global speakers to discuss entrepreneurship topics and connect entrepreneurs and startups with funding and incubation through the Ideathon and Startup Demo competitions.
