FL2015 A46 ARCH 475D 01: Landscapes Through Time: The History of St. Louis' Built Environment First Paper Assignment – Due October 5 The first paper will be at least five typed double-spaced pages in length, and will be in answer to an opinion question backed up by footnoted references. The first paper is due on October 7. In the paper, I would like you to take a thoughtful look at the information regarding the three cultures we have studied up to that point in the class. Compare and contrast the three cultural groups, their structures and their use of the land on the site of St. Louis. The three groups are the Mississippian Indians, the French-speaking Europeans, and the English-speaking Americans. Questions to think about: Are the groups completely different from one another, or are there similarities? How and why did each group build as they did; in your opinion, were their structures and use of the land fitting solutions to the problems and conditions confronting them?

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
