Purpose
 Economic growth is an increase in a nation’s output and can be measured by
the percentage change in a country’s gross domestic product / capita or per
capita GDP. More developed countries are those with high average
GDP/capita values versus those of less developed or developing countries
with low GDP/capita values.
 Identify the richest versus poorest countries using the CIA.gov World Factbook
database and list specific characteristics pertaining to each classification and
consider the differences in environmental quality between the two groups.
