RLST 3000 Christian Traditions Prof. Whitehead CHRISTIANITIES IN THE MEDIA PAPER DUE: April 23, in class Write a formal essay of no less than 1000 and no more than 1250 words (4-5 pages) on Contemporary Christianities in the Media following the directions below. Papers should be typed, double spaced, and have 1-inch margins. Do not use a font larger than 12 points or smaller than 10 points. Your essay should have a thesis statement and should make an argument related to the topic. Essays will be graded on your use of and insight into the articles you choose, your ability to analyze them in conversation with each other, and the quality of your writing. Be sure to carefully read and use the “Guidelines for Essay Writing,” posted on the course website, in preparing your essay. Please be sure to proofread your paper before handing it in . Points will be deducted for sloppy writing (numerous spelling and simple grammatical errors).
