Topic2DQ1:Qualitative data have been described as voluminous and sometimesoverwhelming to the researcher. Discuss two strategies that would help aresearcher manage and organize the data.Qualitative research provides the opportunity to understand the development and implementationof regulations and policies, as well as the experiences of stakeholders. In a qualitative study, datais collected in a variety of ways, such as through one-to-one interviews, observations, surveys, case studies, and conducting focus groups (Hoeberet al., 2017).Compared to quantitativenursing research, the data collection procedure for qualitative studies often demands moreflexibility and fluidity (Polit & Beck, 2017, as cited in Green and Johnson, 2018).Because ofthe non- numerical nature of the qualitative data, qualitative research creates a great deal ofwords as a data, and even a small qualitative project easily generates thousands of words, whichdemands the researchers to come up with strategies to manage and organize data.
