Objective:1. To measure the voltages of a circuit in different frequency.2. To plot voltages of R-C and R-L series circuit versus frequency.3. To plot the input impedance of a circuit versus frequency.Equipment:Multisim ApplicationTheory:The impedance made by the capacitor/inductor depends on the frequency. Basically: as thefrequency increases, the overall impedance of the circuit decreases(with the capacitor). Now forthe inductor the overall impedance of the circuit increases. The voltage drop for the capacitor decreases while the inductor increases.Pavel NunezPage 3 of 11Experiment #3
Procedure:Run 1 Series R-C Circuit1. Connect the circuit of Figure 7.1. Figure 7.12. Double click on the generator and select frequency of 1 kHz. Set the voltage to 5V peak.3. Double click on the scope to see the scope’s screen.4. For time scale select 500 μs/Div.
