If L= 62.6±0.3 cm and T = 2.009±0.002 s, calculate the value of g and its uncertainty. Show all your work. (2 points) (Matlab syntax code is included to help you see how to use matlab). >> 4*pi^2*62.6/2.009^2 ans = 612.3140 so g = 612.3140 cm/s 2 . >> 4*pi^2/2.009^2 ans = 9.7814 >> -8*pi^2*62.6/2.009^3 ans = -609.5709 σ g 2 = ( 0.3cm * 9.7814/s 2 ) 2 + ( 0.002 s * -609.5709 cm/s 3 ) 2 = 10.0971 cm/s 2 so σ g = 0.3 cm/s 2 To the acceleration of gravity, g = 6.12 ± 0.03 m/s
