ABSTRACT The purpose of the experiment conducted was to investigate the effects of high intensity interval training on the subject’s recovery rate. It was hypothesized that aerobic and anaerobic high intensity interval training once a week would decrease the recovery rate time of the subject respiratory rate (RR) and heart rate (BPM), given the same stress when running for twelve minutes.
