Make sure you can tell thepennies apart!3.Find the mass of each penny. Record the mass and the year each was minted.4.Place the pennies in the bottom of a specimen cup or beaker. The pennies should not touch.5.Add 30 mL of 6M hydrochloric acid to the specimen cup or beaker. Cover the container with a watch glass.6.What happens? Record observations in a data table.7.Label the container with your names. Place the container in a safe place overnight.Day #28.Discard the acid solution in the sink while running the water.
